Crowding is the lack of space for all teeth to fit normally within the jaws. The teeth may be rotated tipped or displaced. Crowding occurs when there is disharmony in the tooth to jaw size relationship, or when the teeth are larger than the available space. It can also be cause by delayed loss of primary teeth, or improper eruption of teeth.
Cross bite is a condition when one or more upper teeth will bite on the inside of the lower teeth. This may happen at the front or on the side of your mouth. Cross bite may cause wear of the teeth gum disease and bone loss.
Spacing, the opposite of crowding is an excess of space for your Teeth, resulting in gaps between your teeth. This generally occurs when the teeth are smaller then the available space.
Teeth extending beyond normal contour of dental arches; usually in a front or anterior direction. This is characterized by the upper teeth extending too far forward or the lower teeth not extending far enough forward.
When your midline is shifted your upper front teeth midline does not match with your facial midline. This may be visually unattractive. With clear aligners you midline can be shifted to align your front teeth.
1 Initially, your Klear Aligner - trained Orthodontist will take photos, X-rays, and digital scans or a dental impression to help create your treatment plan.
2 The maker of Klear Aligner invisible braces will then use these records, along with the treatment prescribed by your Orthodontist to create a customized 3D treatment plan just fort you. With the treatment plan, you'll be able to see the final position your teeth are predicted to reach after treatment. This treatment plan is used to develop your customized aligners and also estimate the likely length of your treatment.
3 The customized aligners will be manufactured and shipped to your Orthodontist's office.
4 Your series of custom-made aligners will be given to you (typically 3-4 sets at a time) for you to wear everyday and change them at home every 2 weeks.
5 You'll be visiting your Klear Aligner - trained Orthodontist approximately every 6-8 weeks to monitor the progress of your treatment and receive the next series of aligners.
6 After you've finished your Klear Aligner treatment, you may need to use retainers to help make sure the new position of your teeth is maintained.
